On January 17, 2025, Dr. Monica M Bertagnolli will end her tenure as the 17th director of the National Institutes of Health (NIH). Dr. Bertagnolli took office on Nov. 9, 2023. We are grateful for her leadership, guidance and her dedication to endorsing affordable and equitable health care around the globe. We wish her the best with the next chapter on her journey.
