Registration is now open for the Summer 2023 Human Tumor Atlas Network (HTAN) hybrid meeting on\u00a0June 12-13, 2023<\/strong>.

HTAN<\/a>\u2014a Cancer Moonshot initiative\u2014aims to produce molecular resolution-level, single-cell spatial atlases of cancers as they progress from pre-cancer to cancer, then from locally invasive to metastatic disease, and respond or become resistant to cancer therapy.\u00a0HTAN\u00a0launched in 2018 with\u00a0two pilot projects, ten\u00a0HTAN\u00a0Centers<\/a>, and the\u00a0HTAN\u00a0Data Coordinating Center<\/a>.\u00a0HTAN\u00a0investigators have contributed data- and insight-rich atlases and over 150 publications describing new cancer biology, potential biomarkers related to cancer risk and treatment response, and over 30 new experimental and analytical approaches. Data, protocols, and analysis tools associated with\u00a0HTAN\u00a0are available on the\u00a0HTAN\u00a0data portal<\/a>\u00a0the\u00a0Institute for Systems Biology Cancer Genomics Cloud<\/a>, and the\u00a0NCI Cancer Research Data Commons resources<\/a>.

The Summer 2023\u00a0HTAN\u00a0meeting will take place virtually and at the Broad Institute in Cambridge, MA. Participants outside of the\u00a0HTAN\u00a0program are welcome and highly encouraged to join the meeting virtually to learn more about\u00a0HTAN\u00a0and interact with\u00a0HTAN\u00a0investigators. The two-day meeting will highlight the\u00a0HTAN\u00a0atlases that are currently available and include presentations from investigators outside of\u00a0HTAN\u00a0that have employed\u00a0HTAN\u00a0data and resources in their own projects. Virtual participants will be able to ask questions and contribute to the meeting through the Slido platform. Registration for the meeting will be open until\u00a0June 13, 2023<\/strong>, and a draft agenda can be found at the\u00a0Meeting Website<\/a>.
